Before coming to Rio, I was a bit worried about safety, but this hostel completely put my mind at ease. It has its own secure entrance, which made me feel very safe. The metro station is just a few minutes’ walk, making transportation super convenient. There are several supermarkets nearby, which is very handy, and the beach is only about a 20-minute walk away—perfect for a stroll or relaxing. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely choose this hostel again next time I visit Rio!

Dudu is the best host and very welcoming. From the dining room, kitchen and balcony you can the sugar loaf and ocean. I can recommend everybody staying there and even the towels are very good

Absolutely exceptional service, we were only there for 1 day but we were treated like family and made to feel incredibly welcome. The room was a good size and very clean, the hostal has a good shared area with great facilities. The breakfast was the best we've had across South America. The location is also a few minutes walk to the centre of santa teresa. I'd highly recommend a stay here!
