Probably the best hostel I've been to in Costa Rica. Very clean and well located, dorms of a decent size, plenty of common space both indoor and outdoors. Would definitely recommend

A gem of a hostel with an incredible vibe, clean and considerate space, and excellent location! The kitchen had up to date stove tops, utensils, shared oil and even an air fryer. The vibes were lovely and I felt welcomed into a community that allowed me to ebb and flow as I solo backpacked. Facilities were great and the unique features for women, like the hair/makeup sink space, jacuzzi (cool), and bike rentals were exceptional. I cancelled another hostel stay to remain here in paradiso. Spanish/English/French/German and other language friendly :) p.s. book direct/on the website and this hostel will be half the price!

Super chill and nice spot in Puerto Viejo, Yannis and the staff are extremely helpful with anything that you'll need. The facility is just what you need in a place like Puerto, the kitchen is huge and well furnitured. They also have there bike for rent, laundry service ans snorkeling equipment as well. All and all 10/10.

The best place you can choose. Everything was perfect. It has a jungle feeling to it. Plants and trees everywhere. We even had a sloth on our backyard. My dreams came true❤️😪 They have such nice cats and dogs and we will miss them so much. Especially Ruka, who came to say goodbye when we went 😪❤️ Our room was perfect, the outside kitchen was perfect and the staff is super friendly and helpfull. They even got me some fresh pipas for my birthday! My brother wrote to hostel if they can arrange something and it was so nice❤️ Thank you! We rented bikes for couple of days and enjoyed them so much! The location is great, close to town, the beaches, to Cocles, to everything! Would definitely return and would even work there! We will miss the hostel, the staff, but most of all, the dogs❤️ ¡PURA VIDA!

Excellent stay - nice dorms, great food and helpful staff. A stone's throw away from Playa Cocles and a short walk from the Jaguar Reserve.
