It was the best hostel I have ever stayed in. In fact, the hostel was so good that I extended my stay for three days. I stayed in a room for 10 people and it was very comfortable. Linen, bed sheets and pillowcases were provided free of charge, each of the bunk beds had a socket and a small light, and each of the upper and lower bunk beds had a separate curtain so I could do what I wanted until late at night. The beds themselves were very comfortable, and although it was a slightly chilly night, the curtains, beds and duvets kept me from getting sick. The kitchen was very clean and well equipped with crockery, utensils and cutlery, which made cooking very comfortable. There was a free food shelf, which was also good because if there was any loss of food, it could be left to the next person staying. And there were two toilets and two bathrooms on each floor, and a place to put clothes to change. Body soap and shampoo were provided free of charge by the hostel, and the shower had adequate water pressure and temperature control. Housekeeping was carried out daily, so the hostel was always clean and I could have lived there. Finally, some of the staff are locals who grew up in the area, so if you come to Leipzig and want to ask about sightseeing or restaurants, they will surely give you the best information. When I asked him for recommendations on places to go for a photo shoot he pulled out a map and was kind enough to share them with me. And the place was a great spot. Ich weiß das wirklich zu schätzen. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt!!

Spotlessly clean, very well run. Very good welcome. This hostel is top-rate. Well located, close to main railway/bus station, and Leipzig’s old town is an easy walk.

We were very pleased with our stay at the hostel. The staff is very polite. The family room was spacious, with its own bathroom, kitchen, and all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Its central location was perfect—close to dining places, shops, the metro, and the train station. The zoo was also within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Friendly atmosphere, relaxing and calm, clean, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful woodwork, art and furniture. This is a perfect place for travellers who appreciate personality, but will likely not be a good choice for those who prefer a vibrant city-style hostel.

Beds were comfy with curtains for privacy it was cute and clean and staff was very friendly
