I loved waking up to the river everyday. This hostel was the most amazing view by the river. The hosts were so nice. At one point they took my call to meet me outside because I was scared of a street dogs they came to my rescue right away. As for the dorms they are very simple and basic but they do the job.

Loved it! We were in a private room with a private bathroom. The room was clean, and the view was beautiful. The place is well maintained. Stuff are very friendly and funny. I was a bit sick and they asked how I felt when they saw me and switched hellos each time we saw them. Carlos in the reception was acting also like entertainment stuff (in a good way) and was really nice. Location is perfect! Just above the river and short walking distance to any attraction around.

Amazing staff, they go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. They are all polite and hard workers, food is also great. Location in the middle of the forest is a plus and the huts style lodge make you feel lost in nature, although is very comfortable. Facilities are great, with a stunning pool and a restaurant/chill out/games area to hang out with others. Visiting Semuc Champey was incredible. They organize tours to take you there but also shuttle to other cities in Guatemala so they have you covered!
