Our favourite place we have stayed after 1 month in Indonesia! We originally only booked for 3 nights but extended to 5 because it was so great. The hostel is extremely clean and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the AC is fantastic. The shared bathrooms are kept incredibly clean too. The hosts are what make this place! Ardi and Husen are both lovely and are always up for a chat. Their recommendations are always great and they are good fun to hang out with! Great location too - only a short walk from prawirotaman (tourist street with great food and bars) and a short grab to the main city attractions. You can buy beer, cold water, and Coca Cola at the property too, and water, tea, and coffee is free. We were sad to leave the place and we wish Ardi and Husen all the best in the future!

Best hostel we have been to in Indonesia. The location, the decoration, the dorm, the people, everything was perfect and amazing ! The rooftop is the best spot to spend time for breakfast, sunset and talk with people. Thanks again to Jali and Hip the best jogja man! I recommand 100 times ! Just go!

When was the last time you felt heavy for leaving a place? Mine was yesterday. I stayed in Ranasa for 4 nights and leaving it feels like I am departing from my summer holiday in my grannie's house. Staffs were excellent and friendly, breakfast was great with great portion and taste, property was clean even include the common area such as living room and shower room, bed was comfortable. As a guy living in the city my whole life I am not used to the wild mosquitoes in the bungalow but I guess its a sign for me to contact with the nature more. The location was superb. It is quiet but with a short walk we reached the Tirtodipuran street, the chic area in the town. I got everything I need within this one kilometre street. I got a bookshop, wide range of food options in price and cuisine, gelato shops, art shops, specialty coffee shops, mart, hidden bar, you tell me. And travelling to Malioboro is still considerably close (4km or ~12 mins by motorbike). I talked with one of the staff and she said that this property might not be the cheapest option in town, and I am happily so. The gap in quality with the cheaper one is enormous, and I am happily paying for that. I can also see that the travellers staying here are highly respectable to the others, so that I felt safe during my stay.

I had the best time at Kali Code Home. It truly felt like a home away from home. I was welcomed warmly right from the start and always taken care of. Fitri was there whenever I had questions, gave me helpful tips, and supported me with any concerns I had. In the evenings, we often sat together and talked. I was even spontaneously invited to cook together, it really had that genuine home feeling. There were so many opportunities for spontaneous moments and connections. On top of that, the hostel is super new and very clean. With earplugs, even the nearby mosque didn’t bother me while sleeping. Fitri and Anang are deeply connected with the community, which you can really feel at the hostel as well. Their Instagram page @kebunkalicode is definitely worth checking out. Thank you so, so much for the amazing days I got to spend with you! I will definitely come back!

The place was incredibly clean and well maintained, which made it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout the visit, always greeting people with a smile and making sure everything was taken care of. On top of that, it was very affordable and offered fantastic value for money. It’s hard to find somewhere this clean, comfortable, and friendly at such a reasonable price, which made the overall experience even better.
