I recently stayed at Shalom Hostel, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The atmosphere was welcoming, the facilities were well-maintained, and the overall vibe was perfect for a solo traveler. A special shoutout to Ankit, who made my stay even better. He was incredibly helpful, suggesting amazing spots for adventure and making great recommendations for exploring the area. His friendly nature and engaging conversations truly enhanced my experience.

Building is spectacular and can tell is relatively new. Very clean and lots of space. Location perfection for exploring laxman jhula. 20 min walk to ram jhula. Beds are very comfy.

I stayed 4 nights at Joey's. Great location and value for money BUT the best thing about it is the staff ❤️ they made me feel welcome and included from the moment I walked in and when I got really sick during my stay they went above and beyond to help me out as much as possible. Thank you so much!!

Everything was really nice! the vibes are chill they cleaned multiple times the common areas. Its also a nice place to talk to the people, everybody is really open. They also have a small Restaurant With Western and Indian food and nice drinks.

Friendly and personal service The owner was very friendly and helpful and no request for assistance was a problem for them. The hotel is well situated, being close to Ram jhula & Janki jhula, transport, and the tourist sites. We would definitely stay there again.

Prime location, amazing staff which will recommend you the best offbeat places to visit and accompany you on a solo backpacking trip. Manvendra ji who is the owner of the property is also very cooperative, hotel managing staff Rishikesh, Anshul and Rahul are always there at your convenience. Overall a perfect stay for your work getaway.

The location is excellent, with cozy cafes, a currency exchange, shops with everything you need, and souvenir shops nearby. A beautiful beach by the Ganges is 10 minutes away, as is the Ram Jhula Bridge, and on the other side, the Lakshman Jhula Bridge is also nearby. A mountain stream flows next to the hotel, which sometimes made it feel like it was raining outside. However, it didn't bother us at all; on the contrary, it added a natural ambiance. The staff was wonderful; we checked in quickly and explained everything. The hotel hosts various meetings and concerts; we attended one and really enjoyed it. There's bike parking; we rented a bike 50 meters from the hotel. There's a laundry room; we dropped off our bags in the morning and they were ready in the evening. The room itself is wonderful, cozy, and clean, with a kettle. The shower always had hot water. Great view from the open roof, lots of seating areas

The staff here was amazing, we had free cooking class in the evening and yoga in the morning. Great social place and the people working feels like friends. Would really recommend for solo travellers<33

Location and the cooperation of the staffs

Family like atmosphere, great hospitality, super terrace with beautiful view, great food. Second time we stayed here, we will stay there again next time for shure. Laxman Jula bridge is closed, they start to build a new bridge. So if you come by car drive one of two kilometer ahead, there is a bridge for cars. If you are walking, go RamJula bridge, then it‘s two kilometer to Skyard.

This was the best hostel I stayed in in Rishikesh! Abhay is super friendly and welcoming :) If you have any questions he'll be there to help you! The rooms are nice and cozy the hostel and bathrooms are super clean. Also, there is a Café on the rooftop which is nice to chill at and the hostel is located in a good position close to nice Cafés and not far from the ganga. Would always come again! Thank youuu!
