Granada is a small city so the hostel is close to everything The gallo pinto and eggs breakfast was great, I wanted seconds but there were too many guests to feed. It seemed to me 90% of guest were european and I enjoyed that. Renny and Odeymis deserve special mention. If I ever open a hostel in Costa Rica I will hire them to work for me.

Breakfasts made by Yanet were excellent and different each day with fruits, eggs, rice and beans (gallo pinto) and coffee. The core family (Hébert, Yanet and their son Lester) with whom I dealt with everyday are truly genuine people, they have helped me 200% with research on land/houses in that area (my goal when I visited Nicaragua), We had excellent conversations, like I never had in other Latin countries, all in all if you want to understand this amazing country more and you speak Spanish, you will learn a lot. Also, members of the family are master potters, they have a small studio downstairs where you can buy their work and also, very recently, take a ceramics course on site. Don't forget to ask them who is 'Leo'

I visited this hostel for the first time in 2017... 6 years later and I can say it has gotten even better. I was planning to stay in a private room but there weren't room available so I decided to stay in a bunk bed. The shared rooms have gotten much better and they keep it so clean. In my opinion one of the best hostel I have visited/stayed.

The staff were very kind and respectful. Very personal and they took good care of customers. The place is located so close to the Masaya market and the fact you can walk to it was great for me. There was many shops close by. Even a barber shop which I visit three times.

Very satisfied with this hostel as a budget choice. A very good location in the center. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful for anything I needed. Hostel is cleaned everyday and my room and bathroom were cleaned regularly. Nice pool to cool off in the Granada heat. A good choice of places to relax outside the room. Good free coffee every morning. Wifi worked well save when Grananda suffered an occasional short power outage.

The hostel has everything a backpacker needs and more - hair straighteners! Wow! They go the extra mile to provide all. Good kitchen, plenty of activities, great advice on tours and travel (and cheapest methods). The courtyards are very pleasant too.
