This little property is beautifully kept and right across from the lake. The view is fabulous and the staff were wonderful. One little glitch...the air conditioner went out in our room but the owner was at our door before we could even realize what had happened. She moved us to another room immediately. The only thing that could have made it better was if the restaurant attached was open but we walked about 4 blocks to Bohemio Grill and Restaurante and had a great meal.

Hotel Jardín de Granada Nicaragua, Hotel La Polvora, and Hotel Casa del Consulado got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Granada.
Hotel con Corazón, Hotel La Polvora, and Hotel Plaza Colon - Granada Nicaragua are some of the popular hotels in Granada.
Loved the friendliness of the people. The walking distance to everything. The culture and adventures available around the area. The food was so good and affordable prices at family run restaurants. An authentic look at Nicaragua. Easy taxi rides. Great local tour guide.
Granada is a beautiful colonial city located in Nicaragua. It has many colonial churches that date back over 300 years old. Many tours are available such as horse buggy tours, cigar shops, chocolate shops and excellent restaurants.
Granada is a real jewel. The streets are safe and the museum are worth a look. Do your excursions from here as they have the knowledge and expertise to treat you well. The main market is something to see. Took a trip around the islands which was enjoyable. Stopped at the old fort on the water which was interesting. Also did a walking tour which was also interesting.
We only had a brief time to stay. But Granada is a colonial city and at least the downtown part where we were was very clean. We had coffee and dessert at a fun funky place near the center of the city owned by a friendly Frenchman, unfortunately I don't remember the name. We went to the Isletas de Granada and had a 1.5 hour tour of the isletas. Our guide didn't know too much about nature, but that's the luck of the draw. We will definitely go back to Granada.
Walking around city seeing Colonial buildings and churches. Sitting in the centre plaza watching local people selling their Local foods .Taking a boat trip to the Islands .Going to the white villages and seeing the amazing craftsmanship of the local people . Take a ride on their local transport through the narrow streets. If you want to hike go to Mombacho volcano and see the incredible views. Then go for a cool swim in Apoyo lagoon and totally chill out and Lastly take a night trip to the Massaya volano and see the amazing view of the bubbling lava .Best place to eat at the Garden Cafe and the Steak House .Top quality food and fantastic prices. I hired a local tour guide called Rodolfo Ortega who owes Nicaragua Escapade who was amazing with Local history ,restaurants, places to visit , hotels and transport.Basically anything you wanted he gave us and he spoke very good English.I highly recommend him as you will learn culture at first hand.He made our stay safe and unforgettable .There is local buses but we had our tour guide.Everything is so cheap there .WE had a high end meal at both these two places mentioned and spent no more than 35 us dollars for two.Beer1.50. WE felt safe there but we did not go wandering the back streets at night in the dark only during day time. There is also a central street with lots lots of bar type food and music on the street. very lively. Shopping you can go to the Massaya Market but you will find stalls also on the streets and you can bargain. I highly recommend this city .
Granada was the first european settlement in Latin America. Today it is a mixture from old spanish cathedrals and churches with latino life in the streets and at the markets. You can go shopping or just sit in a cafeteria and try one of the best coffees in the world they have there. You can go hiking up the volcano Mombacho or do a kayak trip within the hundreds of island at the coast of the lake Nicaragua. You can visit the city of Masaya with the colorful markets or you can do a night trip to volcano Masaya to have a look in the crater of one of the most active volcanoes in the world. People are nice and friendly there like everywhere in Nicaragua. The country is safe and worth to travel there !
Clean fresh modern simple with a great twist ! Public areas and bedroom. The owner takes great pride in this property it is without doubt his passion as well as his business and livelihood. He was very helpful ... multi lingual ... all staff had a smile (no wonder with such a great owner) wish we had stayed here throughout our time in Granada. It was great to see pictures on line when booking that actually matched the hotel. We highly recommend this property if you are staying in Granada.
Just 5 minutes walk to the center, but it’s like you’re totally in a different place. A paradise. Very peaceful, quiet hotel, with a cute garden and a very clean pool, spacious rooms, comfortable bed and stunning view of Mombacha Volcano from the balconies. The owner couple, the cleaning lady (she also serves the breakfast), 2 dogs and 2 cats are all a big happy family and therefore you feel like you’re at home with your own family. We loved this hotel, really loved it very much.
I precisely book this waterfront hotel to be away from the downtown noise and have a peaceful stay and get some beauty sleep away from the bar and party noise. Coming to find out there is extremely loud loud music on from 5 in the evening to 6am. And the hotel owner or the staff can not do anything about. You wont sleep here unless you can through war zone or i don't know, maybe you're able to turn off your hearing device
Granada
Oasis hostel really lives up to its name. It really is a safe haven from the sometimes scourging heat of Granada. The staff really does their fullest to make travellers come together, arranging daily activities at the hostel as well as a wide array of organised tours. The pool and bar area is a great place to hang out in the afternoon and the three free drinks happy hour makes the perfect time to chat with fellow backpackers.
Granada
Beautiful colonial building, shabby chic:) breakfast was yum, homemade pancakes and fruit! The room isn't too big, but decent for a couple of nights. In the very center of Granada, walking distance to everywhere. The owner is a great Irish guy, always available for a chat. Overall, I think it's an excellent place to stay in Granada.
the staff was excellent. Rooteeeeee the manager did a excellent job with helping me fulfill my needs. Breakfast which was included was excellent. the location was close to the main square which was nice to go down and watch the people entertain. Close walking distance to all things Granada. Truly a gem. would stay here again.
The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The pool and grounds area are all very well maintained. The staff was very helpful. They went above and beyond when they found out it was my birthday. They made me feel very special. The location is an easy walk to everything.
Hotel is very well located, not in the very center but near parque central by foot. Very clean hotel, food is amazing, especially breakfast and cocktails. Nice and pretty cold swiming pool, useful for Granada heat. Staff very available and with good taxi partner to get you to volcan masaya.
Granada
hospitality, full breakfast added, serenity . the location was great and right in the heart of Granada. We were given a free tour of the city which really provided a context and appreciation of the history of Granada snd Nicaragua. in everyday this is an exceptional place to stay.
Granada
Marvin, once you get to know him a little bit, is a great host, often taking time out of his morning to prepare fruit and coffee for guests. The pool was useful to help cool down during the day and the property had an ideal location next to Granada's main square and Cathedral.
Very comfortable and stylish boutique hotel close to restaurants and sights of Granada. The room was immaculate and bed very comfy, breakfast so tasty and the service was 10/10 very friendly and helpful host. Thanks so much!
great location with balcony overlooking the Park. spacious room with a comfortable bed. hot water in the shower. good bartenders. decently good food ( I only ate one breakfast here- so many good restos in Granada to try)
Granada
Amazing hostel with great value, plenty of sitting places and covered with trees and shade to give respite from the heat of Granada. The place is well maintained.
The hotel is a beautifully renovated traditional courtyard house close to restaurants and the town square. The staff are excellent. Everything is very clean.
Very nice hotel, close to the centre, nice swimming pool, the room was clean and tidy, fridge was a bonus, breakfast was excellent and the staff was helpful.
The hotel doesn’t look as good as it is from the outside but it’s a great property
Beautiful colonial style hotel, comfortable rooms and wonderfully helpful staff.
