The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They provide us free shuttle bus to the city, which was wonderful. The breakfast was very good!

The family! That was the best of my stay! Special thank you to Huynh that was so nice! Thank you so much to Bobby and Tony for the excellent welcome and service! Sending greetings to the breakfast staff too of course! I ended up staying almost two weeks, extension after extension because I truly felt at home. The breakfast was great and had a good selection that was truly delicious. Being able to ask for scrambled eggs, omelette or sunny side added a flair everyday. Those warm pancakes made on the moment were too good, so my diet had to wait a bit. I was able to work in my laptop comfortably all day, with the filtered station nearby and view of the mountains, and great wifi! The room was quiet, and I actually preferred the rock facing window. Super clean every day. The family dinner was another highlight, where all the guests sat and eat together. Great conversations and friendship grew from it. The location was very convenient and easy to walk to everywhere. The beach 1 and 2 where a short walk, the viewpoints just a road ahead, and supermarkets and markets were nearby. I could easily move in to be honest.

The staff was great, I joined a cooking class and a free walking tour with Aurora which were awesome! The facilities are impressive and it’s definitely VFM hostel! I highly recommended it!

Location and staff are great, sadly just in front of the building there is a massive construction underway but it won't stop you from enjoying Cat Ba.

It had a very good location, I found it very comfortable, a lot of options to choose from the breakfast as well. The family who runs it were lovely, very attentive and if you book tours with them, they come pick you up at the hostel.
