With scenic views of Calafate´s mountains and lake, this hostel is a 7-minute walk from downtown Calafate. It features accommodation with floor heating, free Wi-Fi, communal kitchen and laundrette. Main hall has a really friendly environment. There are every kind of people ranging from solo travellers to couples and a family with a kid. Close to the town center. All personnel could speak English.

My stay in Lo de Trivi was excellent. The staff is so friendly and they were very helpful in helping me plan my daily hikes/adventures in El Chalten. I can’t emphasize enough how at home I felt during my stay. The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances, so it was easy to cook or prepare all meals there. The rooms are basic, but have everything you need (lockers, heating and blankets) and are very clean. Also, location is easily accessible to the trailheads, supermarket, and cute cafes in El Chalten. Despite there being a lot of climbers staying there, I still found many people who were also in El Chalten just to hike! 10/10 would recommend to stay here for your time in El Chalten.
