Less crowded but more modern buildings and faclities. Workers are very kind. Of course it is hostel so cannot be as good as hotels but much cheaper.

Set amid the Canadian Rockies in Banff National Park, this hostel boasts an on-site cafe and 2 self-catering guest kitchens. It includes private storage for guests and acts as a ski pass vendor. Phenomenal hostel- everything you expect from a hostel plus a fantastic restaurant, garden/outdoor area and ideal location. The dorm rooms are small but fine, a toilet inside and showers outside of the dorm. Each bunk bed with USB charger, light. In my dorm room the other travellers were considerate and it was quiet, slept well. You can sign up for shuttle bus (MPT -Mountain Park Transportation) to the lakes at the hostel, although I would recommend doing that online (and early!) - Moraine Lake is especially busy during tourist season. The bus stop for this shuttle bus (there are several) is right outside, hostels parking lot. If you just want to visit Lake Louise lakeside the public bus might be the cheaper option, but a bit of a walk to this station. You can either use the kitchen (buy food at the grocery store near visitor information, 8min walk) or enjoy the restaurant’s breakfast options.

Located 90 km north of Lake Louise in a wilderness setting, this hostel features a common kitchen. Snowshoes are provided for guest use. Ice climbing opportunities surround this property. Good facilities and nice location. Do the small hike up the hill.

Nakiska Ski Resort is located 1.5 km from this Kananaskis hostel. A shared kitchen and barbecue facilities are provided on site. Free snowshoe rental is offered to all guests. Very comfortable and clean hostel! Friendly staff that was willing to help with any needs as well. Excellent location for the ski area.

HI-Athabasca Falls is situated in Jasper, within 33 km of Jasper SkyTram and 34 km of Marmot Basin Ski Area. The hostel has family rooms. At the hostel, rooms have a patio. I had a wonderful stay at a hostel. The place was lovely, and the owner was friendly. It provided a great opportunity to meet new people and share experiences or ideas on places to visit. The accommodation offered Wi-Fi. I highly recommend it to others!

Located at Highways 1A and 93, this Banff hostel offers BBQ facilities for guest use. --Linens are included in all dormitory rooms--. A good place to spend the night with a view of the forest, good location, beautiful mountains nearby, you can also meet wild animals. I really liked the fireplace. Thank you!
