Yes, it gets a bit crowded - but hey, it’s a hostel! Totally expected and part of the charm. Overall, great value for money. Would 100% stay again! 🙌

Cleanliness is clearly a priority here, as the toilets and common areas were spotless. The addition of pool tables was a fun touch and a great way to socialize with fellow travelers. Breakfast was another highlight – hearty and delicious, perfect for fueling up for the day. Plus, having tea and coffee available 24/7 was a thoughtful perk. Everyone was so friendly and nice! Bed was comfortable, bathroom and trash were cleaned daily. I like the little curtain for privacy.

HI Banff provides each guest a free bus pass for the local transport system. Discounted ski packages, bike rental vouchers, and Summer rafting tickets are available. Beds were comfy and sturdy, I stayed in a 6 bed with an ensuite, showers were right outside the door and about 3 spare if it was busy. Events were great, the bar was awesome and a really social place to hang out. Bus passes included, so was easy to get to and from town. Kitchen was big and heaps of fridges. Rooms were super warm didnt even need to use heating
