Ben and Marthika were very informative from the beginning on where things were around the home and provided helpful information about the area. Meeting other travellers was a highlight at the homestay as who I met tended to be longer-duration guests who had interesting stories to share about their time in Canada. The blueberry waffles were well-prepared and delicious, hitting the home-cooked itch I didn’t know I wanted. I would definitely recommend this accommodation because of the friendly staff and enjoyable communal environment.

All rooms at the hostel are fitted with a shared bathroom and bed linen. Great location in the middle of nowhere. Juan was a great host with excelent storytelling abilities haha there is a great sauna and the river to go after and feel the experience.

The location is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, scenic, and perfect for relaxing or enjoying a quiet getaway. Everything we needed was just a short walk or drive away, which made exploring the area super easy. One of the things we appreciated most was the free parking 2 mins walking to the property. The hostel itself was clean, cozy, and well maintained. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience felt smooth and well-organized. We’d absolutely stay here again — great value, great location, and a truly comfortable stay overall!

HI Calgary City Centre is located in East Village, right around the corner from downtown. Free coffee and tea is provided all day. The City Hall transit stop is 2 minutes away and offers free transport within the city center. Free WIFI is included. Please note that anyone is welcome to stay with a valid ID from outside of Calgary.

Shared bathrooms facilities are provided for dormitory guests. A 40" flat-screen cable TV, a desk and an ensuite bathroom are offered in the private guest rooms. It was close to a grocery store and I could use the kitchen so that really saved me money

It was pretty close to the grocery store and it had a bar so it was very easy to meet new people. Also, I had a beautiful view from my bed.
