Situated in a quiet town, Gotthard Backpacker face us a wonderful opportunity to rest before our cycle trip. The rooms were spacious, the location was wonderful and our host was very welcoming.

Set in the Ursern Valley, Gasthaus Skiklub is surrounded by the Oberalp and the Gotthard passes. The Andermatt cable car to Gemsstock is 100 metres away and rooms have free Wi-Fi.

We cannot believe how wonderful this lodge is. Especially for families. The staff were all truly lovely. Exceptionally clean lodge awesome food.

Nadia and Thomas were so kind and accommodating of our late arrival. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was lovely. Even though washrooms are shared having a sink in our room was very nice. Right in the heart of Engelberg, close walk to train station and 15-20 min walk to Mount Titlis. Would highly highly recommend :)
