The building was beautiful, and although it was a mile or so out of town, it was in a lovely part of Martigny with lots of bars and restaurants. The staff were amazing, and gave us lots of information. The hostel itself was lovely. We had a private room with en-suite, and I can’t fault it. Clean, comfortable, and functional. The breakfast was great. Typical Swiss, with meats and cheeses, bread, some cereals, juices, Bircher, coffee. They also had oat milk. I would definitely stay again.

The place is far from train station that’s why quiet and peaceful, close to a hiking trail, sit on a couch outside for chill out with a beautiful view of Matterhorn. The hostel is like a home, there is a free coffee in the kitchen, I’ll definitely be back when I’m coming to Zermatt!

Great concept, great stay and an even greater breakfast! I still dream about the bread. Would definitely come back again.

World-famous Matterhorn Mountain can be viewed from Youth Hostel Zermatt. Ski lifts as well as Zermatt city centre are a 10-minute walk away. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas.

It was good, clean and quite affordable for a historic hotel with SPA and view to the Matterhorn. I definitely enjoyed my stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Cabane Bella-Tola. The location requires a bit of advanced planning (arriving to the Cabane skiing, with everything on a backpack), but once we were there, everything was perfect. Rooms, toilets and showers are very clean. The food is delicious, the service is excellent and there is a very good ambiance among all the different staff members. We have two vegetarian and one vegan in our family and the chef organized something special at each dinner. A special thanks to Mahrez, Noémie, Adrien and Dorian that took so well care about us.
