The first thing that amazed us was how much care they showed towards us. They immediately noticed one of us had an injured ankle and they carried all of our heavy luggage and bags upstairs to our room. They gave us city maps, exchange phone numbers, introduced us to their adorable kitten and dog...and just made us feel so welcome and like family right away. Thank you so much to all the staff for your extra care! You all are amazing and we are still grateful for everything you did for us. When we were checking out, a guy from staff even came up to our room and helped us to carry our luggage back down! That was so incredible thoughtful and attentive. Out of all the hotels and rooms we stayed during our trip, this place took the best care of us! Our 7 year old daughter loved the staff too. She gave everyone hugs, took pictures and had so much fun. Eden Inn offers a European standard of Service and Cleanliness. We pride ourselves in the highest standard of Cleanliness and Value for Money in the whole Yangshuo area. We loved every minute of our 10-day stay at Eden! The staff were incredibly friendly and the view from the rooms were beautiful. Very peaceful and quiet in this part of Yangshuo, and we were glad we decided to stay out here. There are small markets nearby, and a bunch of restaurants you can walk to. Also a place to rent an e-bike right across the street. Would definitely return again!

It is the best hostel I have stayed at in China. I want to give it more than 10 points if it is possible. It was super clean throughout. The lady working as manager had a native-speaker level of English proficiency as she came to China after living in Boston, US. She was so nice and tried to help me in every way. Its location is perfect as the bus station is only five minute walk away.

Even though we only stayed 1 night before continuing to Yangshuo we absolutely loved our stay at Hi Grey Hostel. What stood out to us most was the super friendly owner who didn’t speak English but was always smiling and eager to help. Apparently I had accidentally booked 2 male dorm beds even though we were 1 male one female. the girls dorm was full so the owner upgraded us to a double room. Everything is clean and comfortable and the location is central. We’d come back for sure!
