We loved the location.(off the noisy tourist area), but about 100m from Playa Grande, we loved the setting: in a wonderful garden with wild animals (we saw a sloth and howler monkeys)! The owners (Andrea and Samuel) were wonderful hosts, very friendly, helpful and warm-hearted, passionate about neture. The food in the restaurant was delicious and nicely presented. Really nice place! Nice atmosphere and nice people around! I felt very comfortable. It‘a so near to the center and only a 15 minute walk to cocles beach, I think it’s the perfect location!

Perfectly clean apartment and very calm woman friendly atmophere !!! I was very happy to choose this hostel at Puerto Viejo. Bike rent for 6 dollars. Very good location. Restaurants and Sodas around, but very quit street.

Absolutely loved my experience, the staff, the other guests, everything about my stay. The hostel was very social yet the pods for the beds were very private so you can get alone or social time as you please.

I stayed at this hostel/hotel for 5 days, I was in a dorm and I can say the most comfortable bed ever! It was clean and brand new with big lockers, AC and a big fan with toilets and bathrooms inside each room and a beautiful balcony over the patio where you have many animals coming every day like monkeys and macaws! The people working there are the best 💚 It also has a restaurant and bar with a dock that’s amazing to watch sunset. I honestly could live there it was so green, clean, beautiful and new.
