Fernando, the owner, is an exceptional person and made sure everyone was happy. The place is spotless, looks brand new, and he truly takes care of it. My friends and I stayed in the triple room, which had a nice bathroom with a shower and sink. The hostel is very quiet, and you don't hear any sounds at night. You can park your car/motorcycle right across the street, and there's always parking available. This was my first experience in a hostel, and I'm definitely coming back!

Wow, what an amazing experience. I stayed over a month in Jungle and had the time of my live. I had booked well over a month in advance because it was so cheap (I got a big discount). Two days before arriving I read the Google Reviews and a few of them were devastating. So when arriving I was kind of scared what is going to await me and I was already making plan Bs. But it turned out to be the complete opposite: best hostel experience ever! I was in a tight-spaced hostel with small iron bunk beds before, so everything in Jungle seemed even more spacious than it is anyways. The kitchen is huge and well-equipped. The beds are at least queen-sized and comfy. There is a lot of free space, and especially the garden is amazing. Hanging out there at night with other interesting people until the neighbours cry "SILENCIO" was super-nice and something I was looking forward to each day. But the garden is also nice during the day and if you're lucky you can even get some freshly harvested bananas that are being grown there. But the best part of Jungle are the volunteers. Alessia, Alice, Aron, Arun, Carlos, Erik, Inka, Mukesh and Vincent were super-nice, helpful and made this a really special experience. You can meet a lot of interesting people there that you won't meet otherwise. The place is more hippie-ish/alternative, I only met three "digital nomads" there. The age demographics is below 30/above 60 and there's not much in between. The Jungle is nice for staying longer because of the community vibe. If you happen to stay longer make sure that you get into the WhatsApp group of the Hostel as this will provide you with important information!

Beautiful location right in the middle of the islands inland nature! A little villa with a gorgeous inner courtyard and a few rooms. We got to meet some other people staying there and enjoyed a glass of wine and a chat . There’s a pool table and the host is lovely and the food they have is good , we enjoyed a bowl of pasta after a long day of travels . Full Breakfast was delicious! We would’ve enjoyed staying longer and taking advantage of the hammocks and benches outside , in summer it must be great if it’s warmer as well . Next morning we attempted to hike Pico from there , but didn’t make it and came back.
