We had the best time in Villas Ume Sedani. From the first moment we felt really welcome thanks to the owner Ita, her brother Komang, the other family members and the cute dog named Mollie! The rooms we're really clean and comfortable. Just new. The view from the room was 10 out of 10, all over the rice fields! Every evening we had to order our breakfast for the day after, just by texting Ita. The personal touch was something we really appreciated. Ita and Komang helped us with everything during our 3 day stay. Komang took us to the rice fields nearby and (with a friend) brought us to a lovely waterfall later that day. Ita, Komang and the other family members really wanted to make sure we had the best time in Sidemen! For our last evening Ita invited us to a Balinese wedding ceremony from her cousin who was getting married. She gave us a sarung (a traditional Balinese outfit) and took us to the wedding. It was very special to see the traditional Balinese wedding. All the (loads!) of people welcomed us and gave us lovely food, drinks and talks. What a way to experience the 'real Bali', outside of too busy cities as Ubud and Canggu. You absolutely have to go to this place. They don't have many reviews because Ita and her boyfriend just started. But it's more than worth the money. The best place in Bali! We will definitely come back here.

What a great place to stay. The food in the restaurant is of great quality and the atmosphere was relaxed in the resort. It is a small resort with less than 10 bungalows and it is located 10 min from the great sun set points and about 10 min from the "real"center of Amed. Rent a scooter and the distances are brought back to zero to nothing. The price / quality is really good. The beds are comfy in both type of rooms. My children slept in the bigger one, the three of them and the two of us slept in the smaller one. The shower is a wonderful experience and the bungalows are clean and have all the necessary amenities. No, it isn't a luxurious and posh resort and that is exactly what makes is really nice and comfortable, but it has everything you need when you will spend all of your time at the beach or in the sea. My daughter left her iPods in one of the drawers and they took the extra mile to get them returned to us once we were on Bali after we visited Lombok. Wonderful and kind service! This is what hospitality should be. Thanks for the great experience!

A cama é confortável, apesar de um pouco barulhenta. Dois aparelhos de ar condicionado funcionando perfeitamente no quarto, lockers à disposição. A localização da propriedade está praticamente dentro da praia em um ponto interessante para mergulho e snorkeling, com vida marinha realmente deslumbrante. Fiz snorkeling nos dois dias que fiquei hospedado, na frente do hostel, com equipamentos alugados pelos proprietários do hostel ou seus familiares, já que eles tem várias negócios rolando dentro da mesma propriedade.

Great hostel and cheap. The room stays cool at night if you turn on both aircons and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have live music many nights (it doesn’t go too late) and a lot of the expat community comes to play pool at the bar. It was chill enough for me to work on my computer downstairs during the mornings too.
