The staff is really nice and they help us with everything. We stayed there for 2 nights and the room was really good for the price that we payed. You got also breakfast with the booking. You have a double bed with private bathroom. They help us with the jungle trekking and we did 3 days jungle tour and everything went perfect, we saw a lot of animals and the guide was amazing. We also did a night trekking to see snakes and other animals that are more difficult to see during the day and it was amazing. Thanks to the team our experience in Bukit Lawang is a 10.

We loved our stay here. The room is so lovely, beautifully furnished with wooden elements, the bed is super comfy, private bathroom is great and there is a lovely terrace to hang out plus great common space downstairs. hosts are also great and helpful. higly recommended.

When I arrived at Salty Dogs I immediately felt that I wanted to stay here longer. Aryf and his family are really great people who do everything they can to create a good vibe. Nias is a great place for surfing for beginners and advanced surfers. I ended up staying 2.5 weeks and will definitely come back. Thanks Aryf!

Very conveniently located, safe, comfortable cool capsules, and good bathrooms with hot water! (not very common while backpacking in Sumatra). Very pleased with my stay!

Very new homestay at the Sejahtera buscompany compound, but not completely finished yet. (November/2025) Nice clean rooms (but not 36 m2, I think around 22 m2) with comfortable beds. The Bathrooms are OK with hot/cold shower, there is NO mirror in the bathroom. Towels provided are clean and good. Good working airconditioning. Cups and/or glasses are not provided. 2 small bottles of water per day. Watercooker and coffee and tea... Staff is very nice and helpfull
