The interior of the traditional home has been updated and is clean and attractive. We were there in the middle of summer when the sun rises before 5AM and the curtains in the bedroom were dark enough to keep the light out. This was much appreciated! Most importantly, our host and his family were welcoming and friendly, even bringing a musician to put on a small concert one night we were there!

The beds were were very comfy and staff spoke both Enlgish and Japanese. There is also free coffee and tea in the morning with a V60 at service.
