He made me feel looked after and safe being a solo female traveler this was much appreciated ! The room was close and just what I needed, he arranged drop off for me yoo in the morning -Thanks again

The hostel is well located, they organise beach volleyball or sea swimming, i even did a morning bicycle tour organised by them. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast and the cappuccino were delicious.

If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay (not a party place), book here without hesitation. From the moment I met Sumith, he was incredibly kind and helpful. I honestly was not sure at the beginning why he was being so generous when I was only paying a few bucks (I even felt like he spent more on food, fruits, and drinks for me than I paid for my stay), but I soon realized that’s simply who he is. He was always happy to show me around and invite me to dinner with his friends, so I got to experience real Sri Lankan homemade food. We spent a lot of time together during my stay — watching the sunset at the lagoon, having lunch and dinner together, and chatting every night. He just started this homestay, so the place is quite simple and rustic, but that’s what makes it special — you truly feel at home here. I’m so glad I found this hidden gem. Honestly, I could go on and on about how incomparable my stay was. I’ve already booked another stay with him before I fly back home because I wanted to spend the end of my holiday somewhere that feels like home. Thank you so much Sumith for everything — I’ll see you in a month!

I was in Colombo before and went to Negombo because its a nice place very near the airport. There were certain options to go to, curlys hostel was one of the cheapest in my case. I booked for 3 days and stayed at least 11 days because the room was perfect with a very comfortable bed (I was the only visitor for 8 days) and AC in a cozy house with everything I needed. Curly is a superb host, also the employeed house maker called aunty, the hostel got cleaned every day and the food was delicious. Drank also 'Old Arrack' from Rockland with ice there, can very recommend that spirit
