Eden Kandy is in a stunning location, overlooking luscious rainforest. It’s really peaceful there, the spaces were clean, lots of areas to socialize or hang out solo/do some work if you need to. The breakfast is also delicious and there is free, clean drinking water. Udaya, the owner, is so incredibly helpful. We left Eden Kandy just before the cyclone and he continued to check in and support us to find safe travel for days after. Such a kind person - can’t recommend this hostel enough and will definitely stay again if I’m back in Kandy.

It was a wonderful day in the heart of Peradeniya.This place could be the best place to stay before you visit Ella or Kandy city.you can get Kandy -Ella train at Sarasaviuyana train station or at Peradeniya train station..Both are located 2.5km away from this place.Kandy city centre, Kandy Tooth relic temple is 6km away.Peradeniya Royal botanical garden is 3km away.you can visit Kandy Tooth relic temple,Bahirawakanda Temple,Udawatte tropical rain forest and temple is 30 minutes travel by Bus or tuk tuk.you don't want to go through a busy ,big city and make sure to get a seat on a train or a bus to travel Ella or Sigiriya rock fortress...you can get it by just walking 20 minutes.we decided to book this homestay a few stops before Kandy city.it was a great choice as not only we got a help to get a ticket to Ella train.We spent wonderful day with host family with their 3 kids talking,playing cards,.Host family speak very good English and they are well mannered with foreigners.we decided to stay two more days to visit Peradeniya university garden .it is away from walking distance.According to my travel experience Kandy/Peradeniya are best cities to stay and look around and taste traditional Sri Lankan foods,fruits and culture.They offered us traditional Sri Lankan food for breakfast,lunch and dinner.it was extremely delicious and low in spice you can get nice mountain hike by walking to Hanthana mountain range.it is 500m away.This place is located very next to Kandy-Mahakanda Bus road ..it gets 40 minutes by Bus and 9 km away from Kandy city centre ..If I visit Sri Lanka again ,I will book this place..sure ....I am a Denmark traveller and this experience is amazing...

Contando con WiFi gratis y un jardín, Nature Lovers' Hostel ofrece hospedaje en Kandy, a 1.8 km de Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens y a 6.7 km de Kandy railway station. Esta en una ubicación optima para coger el tren a Ella, así como a muy poco tiempo del centro de Kandy, el desayuno está espectacular, cuenta con baño compartido, habitación muy limpia y con mosquitera. Es un alojamiento en el que lo mejor es dejarse llevar por el host, Ashanka, el cual nos acompañó y guió por Kandy, dándonos un tour genial para conocer la ciudad desde el punto de vista más local. También nos ayudo a cambiar divisas y nos asistió en la compra de billetes para el tren y el embarque en el mismo. Un crack.

The air con worked well. Breakfast was pretty good too. It's nice and quiet in the area. Even with my door really close to the front lobby I didn't hear too much from outside. There was a good shower with great hot water and a divider/curtain (which is quite a luxury in SE Asia). Shower gel and shampoo provided. Nice and clean too. The room was also spacious (though it is a 3 person room technically). The staff were also friendly and helpful.

Execelente alojamiento en las afueras de Kandy. Hermosa casa en medio de la naturaleza con livings internos y externos muy bonitos y cómodos. La atención de las dos hermanas es personalizada y están atentas a brindar asesoramiento para las excursiones y otras cuestiones. Cenamos allí y la comida es exquisita ya muy buen precio. El dormitorio era muy cómo con un vestidor y un baño enorme. El día anterior a irnos empezó el ciclón y se preocuparon e insitían en que nos quedáramos para no arriesgarnos. Habla de la preocupación hacia sus huéspedes, cosa que agradecemos mucho. Lo recomendamos fervientemente.
