The location is absolutely central. The staff are absolutely wonderful and make the time to help their guests and organise whatever is needed be it excursions, cooking etc etc. Be Nomad is a legendary place with legendary staff managing it.

It's an easy walk to most places like the famous night market and other locations. For example, a visit to the museum of photography and the museum of music was an easy walk, taking in some of the amazing streets and alleys in the souks as well. Breakfast got us through the morning into the afternoon. Claudia and Abdullah are beautiful people who care about their guests. Keep in mind that you aren't paying a lot to stay here, so don't expect a 5 star hotel. We loved the street noise. However, the double glazed window shut out the noise perfectly. This is a great location to experience Marrakech inside the walls. If we ever visit Marrakech again, we would book into Jad Ziad.

I always feel lucky because I tend to choose good hostels and Happy Marrakchy didn’t disappoint me either. It is a 20 minute walk away from the main square. The narrow streets leading to the hostel might feel sketchy but it’s ok, the locals are quite nice. The breakfast is substantial, the staff is very helpful and there’s privacy even in the shared dorms due to the curtains. The rooftop has a chill ambiance.
