Everything. My stay was great and I was surprised with how clean the place was. It exceeded my expectations and as for this price in Norway, a much higher standard was provided. I have received less in hotels, here it was a gjestegård / guesthouse and I was treated like a guest who was welcome and all facilities made my stay comfortable. It’s not only clean, it’s also fresh (I see it was recently renovated), there were multiple cosy rooms, like a stua (day room) with comfy chairs, a fireplace, a place to drink coffee/tea etc. The toilets were meticulously clean and the same with bathrooms. Noises were isolated (though it’s a silent area in general). Once I opened the window, I got much fresh air and the sound of the stream. Views are picturesque from each window. I came to Rjukan just to visit the UNESCO-site, but thanks to this service level I will come back with pleasure, just to relax. One more thing: I liked the system with the breakfast that was offered. It functioned really well. In the area there are at least three large supermarkets open even during holidays.

Peace, quiet and the looks of this place is amazing.

A wonderful, clean hotel with perfect customer service and attitude. It is located near the famous hydroelectric power plant in Rjukan and besides the river bank. The rooms have comfortable beds, a sofa, a refrigerator and a small table. In addition, there are tables and benches for spending time outdoors. Bufet breakfast - tasty and with enough food options. Thanks for the nice stay.
