All in all a wonderful stay.

Contando con una terraza, Eco Aventura Hostel Cusco está ubicado en el centro de Cuzco, a 2 km de Wanchaq Train station. We have been travelling across Europe, Asia, and Peru for five months, and this is one of the best stays by far. The family that runs this place is incredibly kind, welcoming and friendly. They have an amazing warmth, and are so helpful with anything you need. When we checked in they gave us a map and explained where all the nearby markets and attractions are. Location is good, close enough to everything but still in a quiet area. They also helped us find the collectivo stations, and arranged for a taxi to pick us up when we left. They let us stay in the room for an extra half an hour until the taxi came at no extra charge. Overall value for money is insanely good. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped with many big windows, and the bed was wonderfully comfy with soft, fluffy blankets and duvets. The shower is electric, so is always perfectly and instantly hot. They even have an affordable and excellent laundry service! As of January 2026, it was 6 soles/kg and when given in the morning, was returned the same evening! They also provided us with nice towels and free soap, and lent us a hair dryer for the entire stay. Hand soap is a liquid, refillable dispenser which we loved from a sustainability perspective. Then there was the complimentary breakfast. Coffee, delicious eggs, bread with jam and butter, and milk. One of us is gluten intolerant, and they gave us a bowl of hot water for instant oats. The fruit they cut up varied (mango, papaya, apple, blueberries, avocado, banana), and was always prepared very well and tasted perfectly ripe. This felt more like a home than a hostel. Cannot recommend highly enough!

The atmosphere is peaceful, open, and welcoming, making it a beautiful place to connect with the community and the land.

The staff was incredible and so friendly. They walked us through all amenities and took care of all details when we needed it. They did laundry even though it was the day off for laundry and expedited it. They were a friendly face when we came back late or needed to leave early. Absolutely incredible stay and would love to come back!
