The hostel was very neat and well equipped. The owner was communicative and informative. Very pleasant conversation. We didn't make it to the diving, but recommendations for the instructor. The stay was amazing because of the helpful and kind staff. They book all day tours and transfers for you, they rent out snorkling masks and have a really nice (& cheap) laundry service. They help with any question or inquiry you have, which made the stay really wondeful. They are one of little hostels that serve breakfast. Every evening they ask what time you want it served.

I stayed in a mix dorm and the bed was iincredibly comfy. The room had a great blackout so I could sleep in during the morning is needed. Would stay again!

I’m a solo traveler and really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It’s right in the center of town and very clean and comfortable. There’s only one room with 8 beds, but it’s super comfortable. The staff were amazing and always helpful with any concerns. It’s very good value for money, especially for solo travelers. They also have hot and cold water dispensers in the room and hot and cold showers, which is very convenient.

Highly recommend staying at Carillo guest house! The family running the accommodation are incredibly lovely and were very quick to help with anything you need during the stay (Queenlay, more like QueenSLAY!!) The dorm room was perfect. Each bed has a privacy curtain and fan. There are also small lockers in the room that you can use to safely store items. They turn the aircon on at night so you’ll sleep comfortably. The wifi is fantastic. They have free drinking water, hot water, coffee, tea and offer bread rolls in the morning. You can also use their kitchen and store items in the fridge. Shower pressure was great. We hired a bike from them (and it was the best we’d used in all of South East Asia)
