A recently renovated guesthouse in the perfect location. The room was very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed and very useful to have available. The owner is such a lovely and very helpful man. I stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I highly recommend the guesthouse and would definitely stay there again. There are great views from the hostel and in the evening they light a fire in the sitting room to warm up in front of. Everything you could want, definitely worth a visit.

Pousada de Juventude da Serra da Estrela is inserted in the scenic area of Serra da Estrela Natural Park. The unit is just 10 km from the nearest ski resort. Spacious common area, clean toilet. Free upgraded to the private room with toilet attached. it's the closest hostel to the top of Serra da Estrella, and the bus stop is just right there. Staffs were great, breakfast included and it was big breakfast.
