They tell you when the northern lights are visible but only in the common kitchen, so no one is disturbed in their rooms. My foto of the aurora borealis was just out of the doorstep in front of the hostel building, we didn't pay for any services other than accomodation and we got everything we wanted to see and more. Its very clean and kept cheap, you get what you pay for and it's one of the better hostels tbh. Some people in the reviews don't realise what a hostel is. The sauna went on for longer than written and we saw the northern lights from inside which was crazy to say the least. It was so relaxing and energizing at the same time. I was a bit uncomfortable in the beginning but you have towels big enough to cover the important parts. In the end I didn't use it for anything other than sitting on it since I felt super comfortable with the people there. the dogs are cute and friendly, you see them everyday. Very nice and honest people working here. Some hostel guests have been here multiple times and it's the cheapest accomodation so far I've heard. We all just want to experience northern lights and all the other things the nature is able to give and it feels more homey that way.

Perfectly situated close to railway station and the mountains and valleys. Nice sauna and relax with a great view and I liked that the old house has kept the old style. It's genuine.
