I generally avoid hostels, as I prefer having my own private room. In fact, I had only stayed in a hostel once before, in Koh Samui—and that was by accident. After arriving by ferry, I was extremely tired and mistakenly booked a hostel for one night, assuming it was a private room. My experience in Phuket, however, was entirely different. While browsing Booking.com before the trip, I came across several accommodation options, including Sweet Lemon Hostel. Its 9.7 out of 10 rating on Booking.com immediately stood out. To be sure, I also checked Google Reviews and was genuinely surprised to see a perfect 5-star rating. That convinced me to give it a chance. I booked a six-night stay, and from the moment I arrived, it was clear why the reviews were so positive. The property exceeded my expectations in every aspect. It was clean, well maintained, tastefully designed, and ideally located—close to Patong Beach, shops, and activities, yet far enough from the noise to ensure a quiet and comfortable stay. I truly enjoyed my time there and spent some of my best nights during this visit. A special thank you goes to Ms. Pang, who was exceptionally polite and professional. The level of service and courtesy made the experience feel comparable to staying at a five-star hotel from the very beginning. If you are visiting Phuket, this is an experience I highly recommend—even for those who, like me, do not usually enjoy staying in hostels.

We couldn't get a grab and I don't remember the owners name but she was trying for so long on her own personal account! We stayed in a private room and it totally met our expectations! This is a gem in Pantong. The staff made our stay the most comfortable, cleaned the room daily, accommodated our requests and were helpful at all times. They even carried our heavy luggage up and down the stairs to the froth floor. The room is spacious, the beds are comfortable and there’s a balcony. I value for your money is incredible, highly recommended.

Great view of the beach and 3-5 minute walk to the beach great location for easy to get to other parts of Phuket too as well the area it self is very nice Highly recommend.
