Breakfast is above average, everyday she puts effort into making a fresh and hearty breakfast. The rooms are maybe a little small but totally fine, you will spend most of the time outside anyway. Location is great with restaurants and bars in walking distance. Something you have to try: Cherry's coconut pancake and mango sticky rice she sells outside the hotel in the evening, very delicious!!!

Also the pool is amazing and the common area is very big. I stayed here 3 nights but I would have liked to stay longer. Unfortunately everything was fully booked so if you want to book here, do it for more days because you will definitely want to stay longer. In addition to the pool, beach and many activities, this hostel offers the best breakfast buffet in Thailand, with fluffy pancakes and waffles, home made jams and peanut butter, fresh fruit and much more. Also in the evening you can have a beer or wine and relax by the pool or take part in a karaoke or a pub quiz 😁 And don't forget to rent a SUP board to enjoy the crystal clear water during the day or the spectacular sunset.

Scooter rental was also included, which was very convenient. It was my first time visiting Koh Mak, and this place was perfect for me. Chilled place close to Rasta View and close to the pier. Feels like you're in the middle of the jungle even though it's only a 5min walk to the beach. Bathroom and bedrooms were clean.

Reading the past reviews I was expecting the worse, but at the end was one of the best hostel I've been in SEA. Clean, a lot of space inside and outside and Mimi the reception woman was super kind and very helpful. Thanks again, hope we can come back.
