Nice place with a retro feel. They upgraded me to a double room for free which was nice. The bed was comfy and the washroom was clean. They also have unlimited soda and cup noodles for the guests.

I stayed 1 night with Self check in the hostel. Good location 3 min walk from Donggang bus station. Family Mart 1 min walk There is a park 4 min walk from the hostel if you would like to exercise - opposite the bus station. The hostel is brand new, I was the only person in the spacious dorm room with balcony. Facilities have good air conditioning, free hot and cold drinking water, microwave, and some silverware. The kitchen is at the ground floor combined with social space, also there is a shed fo bicycles inside

Fabulous place. So clean. Sammy is excellent, so friendly, helpful making you feel very welcome. Room size ok. Beds comfy, although can get somewhat hot in the enclosed space despite very good A/C, so need to keep curtains open. A little far out from centre, but it’s only a 25 min walk, or a local bus. Good fridge size. Common area great to relax in. Would recommend

Really great hostel. The rooms are nice and the bed's quite comfortable. The staff is really lovely and helpful. Also great location for the beach and the night market.

It was a very unusual place. At first glance, it looked almost like an abandoned Taiwanese village. The little houses had definitely seen better days, and some of the buildings were starting to fall apart a bit. Still, it was a very photogenic and interesting place to stay, just a short walk from the sea and a beautiful coastal trail. The rooms themselves, however, were nice, clean, and functional. The breakfast was simple but sufficient and tasty. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay very much, even though I was initially surprised by how neglected the place looked from the outside. The location was excellent, and one of the biggest advantages was how quiet the accommodation was. At night, there was nothing to disturb you.
