MUSEaUM 沐洋人 tiene un jardín, salón compartido, una terraza y bar en Centro histórico de Hengchun. One of the best hostels in Taiwan. All the staff are kind, friendly, and laid-back. The host J shared a bunch of local recommendations with me, and I enjoyed our morning chats at the coffee shop :) They also run a bar in the same building, and even as a solo traveller, I felt comfortable spending time there because the bartenders were warm and welcoming. And of course their original cocktails were great too! My fav was 貴妃挽茶 (Imperial Concubine Yang).

The hosts were super flexible in my dates because I kept changing them. They were friendly and helpful but they are not around that much which makes sense because they have a baby. The hostel is super comfortable!!! If you have a bike it’s easier to move around. It is not in front of the sea so you have to ride the bike for 15 min to get to the closest beach. It was clean. It has a kitchen and a common area very comfy. They will help with whatever you ask.

The room, location ( outside is the Main Street night market ) , the facility ( washing machine and drinking machine, vending machine) , the breakfast were all great. We definitely will come back again when we visit Kenting.

Coming from glitzy accommodation in the big cities in the coastal plain, Checheng is a little more of a grassroots kind of place, but clean and comfortable.
