Excellent place to stay. nice breakfast (they’ve started including breakfast in their stay for free). Dorms and private rooms have great AC (although don’t expect an eskimo room when it’s the middle of summer, the ACs across Zanzibar take a beating then). This is a chilled hostel with a stunning pool area where you can relax and read a book. It is NOT a party hostel, which is exactly what I was looking for. Mohammed (the host/owner) is a really nice guy and goes out of his way to make his guests feel welcome and helps with booking activities and rides to anywhere on the island. About 95% of the guests, including myself, extended their stay.

From where can I start? The place, the view, the pool, the beach, the food, the staff, the guests… everything was better than what I expected. Perfect stay for solo travelers to meet other people. if you plan to visit jambiani and nungwi, make sure your stay in Jambiani is longer because you won’t find the same vibes in the north

Objekat Mambo Leo Hostel, koji ima vrt, zajednički salon i besplatan WiFi, smešten je u gradu Paje, na 4 min. hoda od znamenitosti Plaža Paje i 50 km od znamenitosti Memorijal i Muzej mira. the place is great, you have everything you need in the hostel and around, you feel like at home. its very central, everything is close by, the beach, shops, main road... everyone are so friendly, Tatu is an awesome host, helped me out with everything! i had a private room with bathroom and its great, the fan is just enough to keep it cool. shared kitchen has everything you need. the garden is very cute and nice to chill. neighborhood is nice, i felt very safe there. Really good location, 50m from the beach. Good vibes, very social, the staff are all very nice. Had a great time here

Very nice guesthouse 2 minutes from the sea, and the staff is very kind and welcoming! We got even invited to have a Tanzanian dinner with them, the staff cooked for us and it was amazing.

Objekat Coconuts Bandas, koji je smešten u gradu Džambijani, ima privatnu plažu i bar, kao i restoran. Smeštaj u ponudi ima večernji program i besplatan WiFi. Svako zajedničko kupatilo nudi tuš. I stayed 2 nights at Coconuts Bandas which is such a lovely place right on the beach of Jambiani. Breakfast is served in the little restaurant that belongs to the accommodation with cozy sofas and great atmosphere.The breakfast was great with different options, i had lunch and dinner there as well, everything freshly homemade cooked with many vegan options. The staff was very friendly and gave me recommendations for the area plus they helped me to arrange a taxi. Wake up and take a long walk on the beach at sunrise, you will definitely enjoy this beautiful spot. Highly recommended:)

Objekat Drifters Zanzibar, koji je smešten u gradu Paje, na 4 min. hoda od znamenitosti Plaža Paje, u ponudi ima smeštaj sa vrtom, besplatnim privatnim parkingom i barom. I absolutely loved my stay at Drifters! It had such a fun, welcoming atmosphere - the staff were so friendly, and there were lots of fun solo travellers which made it easy to meet new people! It is in a great location on Paje beach, has a lovely pool, delicious food and clean amenities. I will definitely be back 😊

Offering a restaurant and bar, New Jambo Bungalows is located in Paje. An array of activities can be enjoyed in the surroundings, including fishing, diving and kite surfing. Close to the beach, 2 min walk and you are there staff is very friendly and helpful Beach volleyball lovers, this is the best place in the island for you
