The rooms were spacious, the common areas such as the game room and lounge in the first floor were really nice! They offer free drinking water and coffee which is a plus, and the staff were friendly :)

This uptown New York hostel is 1 block from Broadway Street and a 10-minute walk to Central Park. It features free Wi-Fi, a movie lounge, and a large patio. Everyone was nice and helpful. I felt safe during my whole stay there even though I was travelling alone and it was my first time in NYC. The kitchen is huge with a lot of utilities and everything you might need, I also liked that you can leave something and mark it with the provided stickers “free food”. I attended the comedy show two times on my first and last night - they were free, but the comedians were cool and overall the atmosphere at the hostel was very friendly. I appreciate the opportunity to leave your luggage after you leave the room, so you can explore the city. When I arrived, my room wasn’t ready and they took my suitcases to the storage for free.

Having your own little room in a hostel is a game changer. The whole place was so clean. Bathrooms kept really fresh and clean. I didn’t find it noisy at all but they do provide ear plugs if needed. Communal sitting room decorated so nicely. Recommend anyone visiting NYC to stay here. Brilliant restaurants around the corner in particular Citizens of Soho for brekkie and Rintintin for dinner and drinks. Great place for a solo female traveller.
