Great team of staff, particularly enjoyed having a chat with John (the manager) who even played some music for us around the fire!

A very well run hostel. Very clean. Lots of rules but at least you were made aware of what was expected. Staff were very good and helpful but there was a definite hierarchy so no one seemed to be able to make a decision without consulting someone else. One staff member was living in the same area as me and I simply asked where I should put plastic in the recycle as no bins were labelled for it. I was told if I had questions I needed to phone the boss next time. Certainly a lovely place to stay though and the rate is very reasonable. I do think in general the place is a great place to stay if you need peace and quiet.. there is a no alcohol rule....I do enjoy a glass of wine with my dinner but was happy to comply.

Best hostel I have ever stayed in. Great location, friendly staff, fun activities on site. Room was really comfortable. Fantastic cafe / bar on site too where the food and drinks were exceptional. Would love to come back and stay again.

I had a great time solo traveling at this hostel! The staff is absolutely fabulous - it's run by a family who really cares about their guests, they made me feel so welcome! The facilities themselves are also great, there's a full kitchen with all the appliances you need to cook. They have common rooms with musical instruments, books, and games to play. Firepit, kayaks, and bbq are also available. Just a short walk from the beach and about a 15-minute walk from downtown Seaside. One of the best hostel I've stayed at!
