This is a typical 2 floors Gjirokastra stone-house. It Is located just in the heart of the old town and is ideal for either for solo independent travelers ,or a couple and can have full privacy and occupation of the ground floor including (a doble room, a private bathroom with shower , a small office/ kitchenete, courtyard/garden. This is an ideal hide away for working travellers, writers and artists wanting to escape the urban environment or in search of inspiration . The space This old rustic style house it renovated recently by keeping much of the old characteristic features, like old wooden ceilings and floors in place and building the new furniture with recycling or left over wood panels or pallets and other materials . The plaster is also removed from the walls to reveal the stones . Guest access There are 2 floors in this house . The upstairs is occupyed by me. The ground floor has a beautiful double room ( this was an old cellar ) with a separate bathroom with shower and a separate, small studio/working space with a kitchenette , garden working/dinning table/outdoor sofas also. This ground floor apartment is ideal for 1 or a couple .

Art , heritage, tradition , vinatage and contemporary style are the main hobbies of the host who have moved from Tirana in Gjirokastra. Guests are welcome to interect, eat with us, and use the above floor where we live as their wish.
