We are Reini and Marlene, both born and raised in Pinzgau, and we established Steinbock Lodges ten years ago. With our long-standing, experienced in-house cleaning team, we take care of all the chalets and apartments individually. Our goal each day is to ensure that the guests of our owners have a warm feeling of satisfaction and that they really enjoy their stay. Why Steinbock Lodges? All our apartments and chalets are fully equipped. The beds are always made up with freshly laundered and ironed bed linen and the fl uff y towels are ready and waiting on the bed to put a smile on your face when you enter. Free Wi-Fi goes without saying, which is also the case for basic equipment in the kitchen (e.g. salt, pepper, vinegar and cooking oil) and for cleaning (e.g. washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, bin liners, tea towels, mop, all-purpose cloths and sponge). You might be pleased to know that all our kitchens contain a Nespresso machine and for those who prefer the classic method, there are also filter coff ee machines – the choice is yours!

The apartment house is divided into apartments 1 - 4. All apartments offer enough space up to 4 people. The house is located directly on Lake Zell with its own bathing beach and lawn. Storage for boats, surfboards, bikes and more. In winter there is the possibility of ice skating and cross-country skiing directly from the house on the frozen Lake Zell. There is a private rowing boat available for guests. Magnificent panoramic views of Zell am See, the Kitzsteinhorn and the surrounding area.

Location: Not far from Waterfront Apartments, you will stumble upon excellent restaurants, all with cosy terraces and – of course – beautiful views of Lake Zell. You can get to the centre of Zell am See either by bus (departs every hour and a bus stop is nearby), boat or car. A beautiful promenade will take you around the lake – ideal for running, biking and walking! Leisure activities: In winter, the outstanding pistes of the Schmittenhöhe, Zell am See’s local mountain, are just behind the town centre. In summer, the extensive hiking trails and cycling routes that start in the middle of the town take you up into the majestic mountains. You will learn all about the region and the local flora and fauna on guided hikes and themed trails. Not only a fantastic mountain view awaits you right on the lake but also numerous opportunities for different water sports from diving to sailing. For those who like things more on the quiet and relaxed side can jump on an excursion boat, travel at a leisurely pace across the lake and enjoy the panorama all around – simply wonderful!
