The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, gas stove and oven, microwave, kettle and all basic kitchenware. No private parking at the property but plenty of free unlimited parking spots can be found on the street right in front of the building. There are some fantastic restaurants and mini-mart in Lake Street, walking distance from the apartment. The Cairns Esplanade is the jewel in the Cairns crown. It is very popular with locals for walking, jogging, cycle pathway, exercise equipment at various locations along the length of grassy, well-maintained lawns. The expansive parks and gardens are beautiful. There is a concrete pathway along the beach. A few minutes walk to gas barbecue areas, about 15 minutes Muddy's Cafe (local fish and chips, burgers etc) and terrific water playground and jungle play area for kids. The southern end of the Esplanade has many bars and restaurants to choose from, as well as a world-class casino with restaurants (and is adjacent to the main shopping area). Here you will find plenty of tour booking agents for a big range of reef, rainforest, tablelands tours scenic flights, fishing trips, balloon flights, and other specialty tours. The Cairns beach is not for swimming. Please use the huge free infinity pool at the southern end of the esplanade which has its own beach and lifesavers. Gas barbecues, ice cream shops and cafes are nearby.
