Important: Access involves private entry down 2 flights of external stairs (We reside on the upper two levels.) This waterfront studio is beautiful, peaceful and secluded. It’s north facing so there’s plenty of light throughout the day. Features 3.2m high ceilings, ironbark floorboards, and a modern kitchen and bathroom, king-size bed, king single and single bed, dining for 4 people and a large lounge with TV. Wifi is included. You’ll see deer wandering across the river and hear the chorus of birds n the morning. There’s direct access to the tidal river, allowing you to swim, fish, or simply unwind. Or you can choose to explore the waterways with our 2 person kayak. We are only 300m away from the fabulous Jack Gray Cafe for coffee, breakfast or lunch. Please be aware that the terrain to the river is steep. We look forward to hosting you!
I love gardening, interior design, and listening to podcasts while I clean. On the days when I’m not teaching at work, I enjoy meeting up with friends to walk through the national park, which is just up the road, and having coffee at Audley Cafe.
Things to do nearby: 10 - 15mins walk to the Swallow Rock Reserve, enjoy the picnic area and boat ramp overlooking Port Hacking River and Royal National Park. 10 - 15min walk to the Royal National Park where you’ll find many trails for biking or hiking. Our retreat features secluded and comfortable accommodation with nature at your doorstep and steep tidal river access. Explore the Mud Flats. Grab your coffee on the way and take a leisurely 15min stroll to the end of Grays Point Road and find the nearby mud flats and witness the breathtaking Port Hacking River. Boating—-If you're into boating, a convenient boat ramp is just a 2mins drive to Swallow Rock Reserve Audley Walk—-Our favourite thing to do with friends is to walk to Audley via the “Honeymoon Track” stairs, recharge at the Dance Hall Cafe with a fabulous gourmet lunch and dessert and walk back home. It’s an hour each way plus lunch. You can also hire a kayak or paddle boat at Audley. Grays Point Mountain Bike Festival and competition 25th November 2023
