Straddie Sales and Rentals is a holiday rental agency based in Amity Point off the coast from Brisbane on North Stradbroke Island in Queensland. It is owned and operated by sisters Karen and Annie who grew up on Straddie and have intimate knowledge of what this breath-taking island has to offer. The agency specialises in managing a variety of holiday properties to suit every budget, from small original fishing shacks to premium waterfront houses. While most of these holiday homes are located in the township of Amity Point, SSR have a small number of villas and houses for rent at Point Lookout and are looking to grow that market.... so watch this space!

'Your Place' is a quirky four bedroom, one bathroom beach shack, located just 5 minutes walk through bush reserve to the beach. This property is perfect for those looking for a relaxed, fuss-free holiday on Straddie. This original little gem in popular Gonzales Street, provides a great base from which to explore the island and offers all the comforts of home, with two bedrooms offering queen beds and the other singles, sleeping a maximum of 6 people. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and the living areas are air-conditioned for year-round comfort. Free WiFi is available to keep guests connected throughout their stay. The dining area off the kitchen also houses the laundry leading to the bathroom, with walk-in shower. The covered outdoor area offers a BBQ and a space to relax and enjoy the cool ocean breezes. An outdoor shower is also a must to wash away the salt and sand after a hard day at the beach. The large fenced backyard has ample room for children and four-legged family members to run around and enjoy the sea air. A firepit is also available for those chilly nights.
