We are a guest house dedicated to an exclusive service for a maximum of four adults at a time, including breakfast, beach menu or lunch and dinner with quality cuisine. The lodge has direct access to the secluded beach. There are only two suites, both with air conditioning and two opposite windows for maximum natural ventilation, with independent entrance through the balcony. The dining area and living room, on the main balcony, are also widely ventilated, with no indoor spaces.

At the seafront, we have rustic accommodation for a maximum of four people in two independent suites, on a secluded and low-wave beach, almost always deserted and suitable for hiking and water sports such as kayaking, free of charge. We have 1,800 square meters of green and wooded area at seafront, with space to read, chat or contemplate nature. The composer and singer Raul Seixas, an icon of Brazilian rock, used to spend hollydays here in ancient times, when the property belonged to his family. Breakfast, homemade bread, beach menu and dinner are included in the daily rate. Bedding, bath and beach towels, too. We facilitate transfer from the airport in Salvador. There is an itinerary by boat through Paraguaçu River to visit historic monuments, such as the Convent of Santo Antônio do Paraguaçu (1649) and the Forte da Santa Cruz (1713), on the river's banks.

Araripe de Baixo was part of the centenary Fazenda Araripe for over 40 years. It currently houses a summer allotment without tourist services or urban infrastructure and difficult to access by land, which guarantees the tranquility of the place, especially out of season. The region was, in Portuguese colonial times, a major producer of sugar and housed extensive cattle ranches. The region remains relatively isolated, with extensive well-preserved native mangroves, nurseries for marine life. Neighboring communities live mainly from fishing and agriculture. The region's climate offers mild temperatures even in summer, with sun and heat during the day and less hot nights than in other parts of the coast of Bahia. Winter also offers beach days. Far enough from Salvador, but still quite close, Araripe remains an unpolluted corner of the coast.
