The beach is a haven of tranquility, beautiful scenery and warm waters, separated from the main tourist centers in the north of the island by a small road. It is a place to visit, to spend the day with family or friends, to sit comfortably on the sand of the beach, as the wide strip of sand allows you to find places for umbrellas and chairs, enjoy the seafood that arrives. fresh to the 'pé-na-areia' restaurants and play sports in the sand. The sand is fine and pale yellow. It is separated from the small beach of Pontal, to the south, by a set of stones; on low tide days it is possible to cross these rocks and reach Daniela beach by the sand strip.
