The location was great, close to the mountain and downtown. Our hosts were a wealth of knowledge and gave us great recommendations (of note, the Indian Restaurant was amazing and pick their brains about recent snow conditions if you plan a visit to Kicking Horse). The space they have provided for their guests is impeccable; super cozy beds, a common space that included a refrigerator and tea/coffee station, and fun luxurious extras such as a heated towel rack.

  • Hello can I check exactly what appliances are actually inside the 1 bedroom suite for private use? Is it washing machine tumble dryer and dishwasher? It’s just on the (non suite) room facilities it says they have a washing machine but that can’t be right? Thanks.
    Hi, The one-bedroom suite has its own washer and dryer and all of the suite's amenities are for private use to the occupants. The B&B rooms have access to a different washer/dryer set in an area of the property for B&B guest use.

  • Hi, we’re heading in to Purcell Mountain Lodge 2/18 and need to be at the airport by 0800. What time is breakfast/coffee available?
    Hi =) The earliest time to arrive for breakfast is 7.30am and the latest time to arrive to start breakfast is 8.30am. The airport is about a 10min drive from our property. Coffee/Tea are available in the Guest Lounge area if needed prior to 7.30am.

  • Hello, I am planning a trip next September and hope to stay with you. I could do with some information about driving times, please. How long would it take to drive from you to Jasper and Lake Louise? Regards, Doug Hill
    If you drive straight from ours to Lake Louise or Jasper then the approximate time would be 1hr & 4hrs respectively. Potential for travel interruption due to the Kicking Horse Canyon upgrade East of Golden, make sure to check out the project online.

    The Wifi signal is strong in both the B&B rooms and the Suite. We have download speeds of up to 300Mbps and upload up to 10Mbps.

  • Hi there - My boyfriend and I are travelling through Golden and your lodge looks lovely. However, before we book we were wondering what the view from the room was like? Thanks in advance!
    The view depends on whether you are considering a B&B room or the One Bedroom Suite. The B&B rooms have a garden view. The Suite has Mountain views.

Hi, I'm Kat,and myself and my husband Paul built our TimberFrame B&B, Canyon Ridge Lodge, 12 yrs ago after we moved from the UK, to Golden,BC. We have 3 lovely and homely B&B rooms. They access the Lounge and Hot Tub, where you can relax and chat with other Guests,if you wish,or each room has it's own TV and Wifi access,if you would prefer some more private time. We also have the stunning Purcell Suite,which is a private self-catering apartment,for those who prefer their own space with cooking facilities
