A perfect location between 2 picturesque small "lakeside towns", The Edgewater sits on approximately 10 acres of beautiful grounds with ample facilities to allow guests to enjoy our 800+ ft of waterfront and yet mere minutes to shopping restaurants and theaters Truly the best of both worlds
We are a Canadian couple with many many years past experience in the hospitality field / our goal is to exceed our guests expectations with fresh, clean facilities that meet all your needs at a moderate price We want to have you visit us again and again and enjoy the all the wonders the Edgewater and this area have to offer
Lake Temiskaming is a long long,fairly narrow lake (140 km) with points as deep as 750 feet it is home to over 30 confirmed species of fish and of course countless wildlife Timiskaming shores is an amalgamated Municipality consisting of Haileybury, New Liskeard. and Dymond it is a beautiful area, that besides its natural beauty is home to the regions shopping with stores such as a Walmart super center & Canadian Tire, and off course several of the major Fast food chains like McDonald's and Wendy's We must also be sure to mention the areas rich rich history! for example the great fire of 22 or---did you know?? More silver in dollars and cents was mined in this area than all the gold (in dollars and cents) in the California gold rush so be you Nature lover, History buff, Rock collector,Boater or Fisherman this is a place you need to visit
