A well thought out space, perfect for everything from creative escapes to energetic action-filled adventures. This cottage is all about space, comfort and function. Perfect for the quick getaway and fully equipped for longer vacation guests. A full self-contained cottage, located in a quiet neighborhood, beside the main house on the lot yet entirely private with dedicated parking and outdoor seating. A short walk alongside the main house and you're directly on the beach. Peek-a-boo views from the cottage include sunrise, sunset, mountains, trees and the ocean! This unassuming cottage nestles into the trees and inside holds a lovely surprise. Stripped back and completely renovated it is now a modern, comfortable one-bedroom cottage with generous living area, kitchen and dining space, full bathroom and laundry within. The cottage has proved itself fully equipped for long term and short term stays alike, there is everything needed for all seasons vacationing. Outside the carport is designated for storing bikes, kayaks, skis and patio furniture rather than vehicles since there is ample driveway space for those. In addition, a lockable storage cupboard is available for any of these items during your stay too.
I have stayed in accommodations of all types, at all levels, in many different parts of the world - from a bed in a shared dormitory to 5* resort hotels. In the past few years I have increasingly stayed in privately owned homes similar to our cottage and I've always appreciated the hosts who have tried to think of everything and whose efforts are evident. I am striving to be like them! I care that you enjoy your stay and am committed to your comfort and wellbeing while you're at Saratoga beach cottage.
A quiet beachside neighbourhood, away from the busiest resort areas yet offering all the amenities. Saratoga beach cottage is on a no thru road with walk-on access to the beach and is still within walking distance from the golf course, grocery store, liquor store, pharmacy, pizza and coffee house. Mount Washington is a short drive away, as are the bigger centres of Courtenay, Comox and Campbell River. For those wishing to adventure further afield, Black Creek is the ideal base from which to explore all of Vancouver Island and the many Gulf Islands.
