Our beautiful surf house is nestled admist the jungle and a 5-minute walk from Playa Hermosa. We have 5 rooms and a private camper, each with AC, ceiling fan, hot water, two single beds or one queen bed, private balcony or terrace. Daily breakfast is included. We offer a fully equipped shared kitchen, outside barbeque area, swimming pool, terrace lounge, free wifi, rancho with ping pong table and hammocks, free tea and coffee, boards for rent, surf lessons, guided tours, surf trips, board games and pura vida. Yoga and Spanish lessons are also available. Pets are allowed by request. Charges apply.

I’m a Costa Rican native, nature lover, surfer, and tennis player. I’m a dad of a 2-year-old and love spending time with my family and friends. Since 2012, I've been hosting surfers, surf camps, adventurers and travelers alike at El Chante Surf House. Playa Hermosa is at the end of town in Santa Teresa. It's perfect for guests that want to relax, surf and experience the true pura vida vibes. There are a few restaurants, a yoga studio, supermarket, and a surf shop within walking distance: Tp8 Pizzabar Closest restaurant from the house, TP8 is always a go to! The pizzas and pastas are amazing. And you can be sure to be full! They even have gluten free pasta ;) Couleur Cafe Super close from our local surf spot Playa Hermosa, Couleur cafe offer good food and smoothies! If you want a good burger, there you go! Mantarraya Cafe This is on the same road as Couleur Cafe and they offer great breakfast food, smoothies and coffee. Blue Mist Though Blue Mist is a hotel, they offer a beachfront restaurant that's open to the public. It's the perfect place to enjoy a meal and the sunset. They also offer daily passes for non-guests to enjoy their pool, ice bath and a credit to enjoy a meal at their restaurant. Super Hermosa This is the neighborhood supermarket where you can buy pantry, freezer and refrigerator essentials including fresh produce, toiletries, home and car essentials, and more. Jackalopes Surf Shop They're conveniently located 100mt from Playa Hermosa. It's the best place for all your surf essentials.
