The condominium is well managed, safe and only a three minute drive from the center of the tourist section of downtown Cabarete (1 mile from Janets supermarket). The condo is located in the exclusive Cabarete East Condominium complex, a gated community with 1 parking space, 24 hour security and electricity with a backup generator as well as management service within phone reach in case of an emergency. It is important to know the common practice of Cabarete to pay the A/C electricity consumption in addition to the rent. This practice helps to regulate the excessive use of air conditioning. The specific meter for air conditioning will be read upon your arrival and departure. So you will only pay for what you used. The maximum authorized at the condo is 6 adults (14 Y.O. and up) and 10 in total with children.

Cabarete is the Caribbean capital for water sports and adventure. This area is considered the best destination in the Dominican Republic for the practice of surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing; it is located in the province of Puerto Plata, near Sosúa. This unique village is located in the bay of Cabarete, hence its name, and is known for having the best waves and the best wind on the whole island. The condo is conveniently located approx. 22.5 km from Puerto Plata International Airport, just 30 minutes by car and you will arrive in paradise. If you want to get out of the property to explore the area, you can easily get there by rental car, with a pre-arranged transportation service or public transportation. We are only a short distance from the city center. It's about a 20 minute walk either by beach or road, or a 3 minute drive to all the shops and restaurants that line the beach. There is a small store on site for essentials.
