Hey, my name is Simone ans I am originally from Germany. I moved to the beautiful South-East of Estonia in 2018 in search for a more simple, sustainable life close to nature. I live in an off-grid cabin that I built myself on my land and I work as a potter. I am looking forward to welcoming you into my wild home =)

The cabin is situated in the hilly countryside between Haanja and Karula nationalpark. Extensive forests offer great spots for berry and mushroom pickung as well as hiking und bike trips. The highest Estonian mountain the Suur Muna Mägi is only a 20min drive away and the neighbour village Rõuge is well known for its beautiful lakes and its unique watchtower. Other local attractions are the Luhasoo swamp, the Piusa sanddunes and bat caves as well as the Taevaskoda hiking trail and the Hinni canyon. There is free parking on the property. Local busses run several times a day from the nearby bus stop to Võru and Antsla.
