We (the owners and our niece) are residing on this island since 1995. We have chosen this island after having had a close look at all the Canary Islands and one of us had already lived on Gran Canaria since 1982. Being passionate hikers and loving the nature, scenery and local life of La Palma, together with its friendly local population, this we found the ideal place to settle down - a decision we have not regretted ever since. Our aim is to make you feel on La Palma like we did when we arrived here. The incredible number of guests that have made La Palma and our place their favorite holiday destination that they visit year after year is proof that we have managed to succeed at least with this big family of "La Fuente" and its adjacent holiday houses and flats.

You could not stay any more central in the old town of Santa Cruz de La Palma, in an antique Canarian house that we have carefully restored and renovated with the most possible respect for the traditional architecture - still with all the modern amenities that you might want in order to make your holidays on La Palma as pleasant as any possible.

Santa Cruz is the cultural center of the island with a beautiful old town, the islands museum, the towns theatre, a typical indoor market selling the local produycts, and a big selection of amazing colonial buildings from the flourishing times of this town, the 16th century. Then, this little town of nowadays 18.000 inhabitants was one of the mayor transatlantic ports within the Spanish Empire. It is a 15 minutes walk to the fine black sandy towns beach, and with the excellent and extremely inexpensive bus system you can reach almost any part of the island at almost any time of the day.
