Today, Barceloneta is a vibrant hub surrounded by an array of restaurants, museums, and shops, providing visitors with endless options for entertainment and exploration. A must-visit for any foodie is the Barceloneta market, located just a few meters from La Palma. Designed by Josep Mias Gifre (MIAS Architects), this market offers fresh seafood, groceries, and succulent Spanish hams and cheeses, making it the perfect place to experience the flavors of the city. Across from the market, you'll find the Baluard bakery, a local favorite where you'll always find a queue, no matter the time of day.
